GeoDict Base Functionality
GeoDict Base is the foundation of "The Digital Material Laboratory". It provides the essential core functionality for all GeoDict applications, offering a user-friendly environment for material analysis, research, and development.
Several powerful modules are integrated into GeoDict Base, enabling users to generate complex models from imported data, edit them interactively, and prepare simulation results for realistic presentations.
GeoDict Base can be tailored and extended to meet specific application needs, with dedicated modules available for image processing and image analysis, material analysis, material modeling, and property computation and prediction.

Graphical User Interface – A structured, clear, and user-friendly GUI that makes complex simulation tasks accessible and intuitive.
Advanced Visualization – Raycaster-Render-Engine for fast and advanced 2D and 3D visualization of material models and simulation results.
Interactive Editing – Voxel- and object-editing tools for easy and interactive fine-tuning of 3D material models, allowing adjustments voxel-by-voxel or by object.
Image & Video Tools – Professional tools for capturing and processing images and creating sophisticated videos from material models and simulation results.
Scripting & Automation – Scripting interfaces to Python and MATLAB® for process automation, along with an automation interface based on Python offering full control and optimization of GeoDict workflows.
Seamless Integration – Interfaces to MATLAB®, Python®, and Microsoft Excel® allow GeoDict to be seamlessly integrated into established development processes.
Modules integrated in GeoDict Base
GADGEO – enables manual construction and manipulationof material models as 3D-images and as analytic object-data.
GEOLAB – is a collection of MATLAB functions and scriptsthat allow to run GEoDicT from MATLAB and tofurther process simulation results of GEoDicr inMATLAB.
PROCESSGEO – nables modification and transformation of 3Dmaterial models: cleanse, rescale, dilate, addbinder, compress, reassign, resize, and more...
GEOPY – is an automation interface in GEoDicT, which is based on Python (3.6) and allows full control over the running GEoDicT process.
LAYERGEO – enables layering and combination of 3D materialmodels.
GEODEXCEL – allows detailed post-processing and in-depthanalysis of GEoDicT results with Microsoft Excel.
