The analysis and detection of the cleanliness of workpiece surfaces, as an important quality control measure, have been widely applied in various industries such as automotive parts, bearings, engines, turbines, aviation, semiconductors, data storage, medical equipment, communications, precision instruments, photovoltaics, and lithium batteries. The TS3000 Cleanliness Image Analysis System utilizes advanced image algorithms and, combined with a scanning stage, can quickly complete the scanning and imaging of an entire filter paper. It can accurately detect, identify, and analyze particulate contaminants on the filter membrane and issue cleanliness detection reports based on standards.

Functions and Features

The system uses a one-scan method, generating two panoramic images under polarized light and bright field in a single scan. It is simple, easy to use, efficient, and accurate. With one-click operation, it automatically identifies metallic, non-metallic, and fiber particles, and determines particle count, size, grade, filter membrane coverage, and other parameters. The one-scan method offers high precision and speed, while preventing misjudgment and omission of metallic particles.
Bright field and polarized light are automatically and flexibly switched by computer control, eliminating the need for manual adjustment. This operation is noise-free and vibration-free, reducing human error.
Software Algorithm: The advanced image algorithm seamlessly stitches images together, accurately restoring the image and avoiding misalignment.
Automatic Focusing (TS3000M only): Intelligent automatic focusing with software that analyzes the clarity of the current field of view and drives the microscope’s focus based on the calculation results.
One-Click Navigation: By clicking on the one-click navigation button, users can complete the cleanliness testing process step-by-step according to the software's preset instructions.
Contaminant Identification, Analysis, Calculation, and Editing: The system automatically identifies particles and counts them according to standards, analyzing particle categories. It provides functions for connecting or segmenting images. In addition to built-in standards, users can add custom standards.
Result Correction: For particles that cannot be automatically identified, segmented, or are over-segmented, the software provides a manual correction feature, allowing users to manually split or combine particles.
Real-Time Dynamic Review Function: Users can control the stage to reposition to the area of interest on the sample for review.
Data Management: Analysis data report can be stored in a database, providing a basis for future quality traceability.
The software generates professional cleanliness reports.
Supports template-based report generation, including statistical data, ratings, overview images of the filter, and photographs of the largest particles and etc.

System Configuration

Microscope: The TS3000M system is equipped with an upright metallurgical microscope, while the TS3000S system is equipped with a stereo microscope.

Motorized Stage: ACCUR high-precision motor stage with motorized Z-axis focusing (available only for TS3000M).

Controller for Multidimensional Motion and Multi-Mode Illumination.

Cleanliness inspection software, realizing motor stage control and focus control. Large image stitching, panoramic target tracking and calculation. Calculate and classify particles according to different standards, and generate report cleanliness.

Digital camera: High resolution digital camera, USB interface, easy to use.
